SBK (Smartphone-based keratographer)

Although tiny, the SBK is a full grown placid-based topographer. It can be used handheld, but also mounted on a base, next to the slit lamp.

Stunning accuracy

Comparing our SBK images with benchmark Scheimpflug and placido-based devices shows a high level of accuracy, sufficient for large- scale screening purposes.

Where do we stand?

The SBK is currently in its prototype phase and has been successfully used in a pilot study.
